Are you looking to reduce anxiety over organizing your college application process? How about tackling the applications themselves and their essays?
Collegiate’s college counselors take care during the Junior and Senior years to prepare you well for these tasks, but this camp offers you the structure and time-on-task for an intensive acceleration. Primary topics include organization and logistics, individual application sections, and essays. You’ll be able to walk away with a completed application draft, allowing you to focus on supplemental essays and requirements during the fall.
Registration closes on May 21; each session covers the same content.
By registering, students agree to submit an essay draft to their college counselor by July 1, and to arrive at camp with the first three sections of the Common Application completed.
Students are responsible for bringing their own lunch.
This camp will be presented by the Collegiate College Counseling staff: Erin Breese, Brian Leipheimer, Adam Ortiz, Dona Rehm-Robles, and Miranda Saunders. Together, they have more than 95 years of experience in college counseling and admission, and they’ve evaluated more than 40,000 applications as admission officers in highly selective institutions from across the country, including Johns Hopkins University, Lafayette College, New York University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the University of Vermont, Vassar College and Washington & Jefferson College.
