•Bring a healthy snack and a filled water bottle to camp each day. Scientists in Action takes a colorful dive through the scientific process. Campers will observe, experiment, investigate and analyze through the use of hands-on activities. Campers will also build social skills and show off creativity with a variety of STEAM challenges. A rainbow of discoveries is just waiting to be found at this week-long camp. Children are grouped by age. Enrollment is limited, so sign up soon for this fun-filled week of discovery and investigation.
Lauren Byrd teaches 4th Grade at Old Hundred Elementary School in Chesterfield County. Since earning her master's degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2002, she has taught Kindergarten, 1st and 4th grades. Brittany Read teaches 3rd grade at Woolridge Elementary School in Chesterfield County. She earned her master’s degree from James Madison University in 2014 and has taught both 5th and 3rd grade.
