This year, Collegiate’s Lower School Chinese teacher Daisy Hu is excited to offer students in grades K-2 an immersive journey into the rich language and culture of China. Through fun, interactive activities, students will explore the wonders of China, its myths, traditions, and daily life. With the help of Mrs. Hu’s famous panda Peony, students will dive into the basics of the Chinese language—learning greetings, numbers, animals, and popular foods—while also gaining a deep appreciation for the country's ancient inventions and vibrant culture.
Daisy Hu, Collegiate’s Lower School Chinese teacher, is a native speaker and has been teaching Chinese for fifteen years in various settings.
