Feast of Juul Kicks Off Holiday Season

Last evening, Collegiate School senior boys gathered with their teachers for Feast of Juul, the long-standing annual tradition that begins the holiday season.
To start the event, Upper School faculty and students gathered in a festively decorated Norse-themed McFall Hall, where seniors were served dinner by their teachers. The tradition, now in its 31st year, included live music before and after the meal.

After eating, seniors took to the microphone and good-naturedly roasted and toasted faculty members before letting teachers do the same. The seniors then ditched their jackets and ties for casual clothes. They competed in games in the gyms and played video games and took part in other activities in the Upper School halls.

After midnight, students and their faculty chaperones headed to a local restaurant for an early morning breakfast. Then, everyone headed home for much-needed sleep and the start of the Thanksgiving holiday.
