Art Walk is Stroll Among Great Works

Last night was a glorious evening to wander the campus and appreciate all of the artistic talent right here in our Collegiate family at the annual Art Walk, a campus-wide display of works in many media.
In the Lower School there were gnome villages created by 2nd Graders outdoors in the landscape, as well as Upper School ceramics in the Watt Library.
On the other side of campus, families gathered for a picnic dinner outside Memorial Hall while being entertained by a jazz trio. Honors art collections, the culmination of many years of hard work, were in the science building, and there was a lively group painting experience outside. "It means so much to us," says arts faculty member Pam Anderson Sutherland. "but especially to the students who have worked so hard to show you a special side of themselves. Thanks for taking the time to look and to talk to them about their work. The night felt especially meaningful this year."
