Winter Party = Mission Possible

Collegiate parents, alums, faculty, staff and friends enjoyed a fun evening out while supporting an important curriculum initiative at the School's signature fundraiser.
The theme for the 2016 Winter Party & Auction was Mission: Impossible, and the event was chaired by Collegiate parents Kathryn and Jason Angus ’93 and Corbin and John Neuner.
Guests arrived at The John Marshall Hotel and were photographed movie premiere-style before using their own secret-agent smartphones to place bids on fabulous silent auction items. Mark Motley and emcee Curt Autry of NBC12 kicked off the live auction, with Liane and Nick Pace winning a trip to Costa Rica in the raffle.

Daniel Bartels, Collegiate's Upper/Middle School STEAM curriculum coordinator, provided a show-and-tell of sorts of some of the School's current projects, including a robot and virtual reality software. Parents had fun driving the robot around the silent auction room and wearing the goggles to try it all out.

Proceeds from this year’s event will be used to enhance Collegiate's Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math (STEAM) curriculum, as well as to provide for a phase one upgrade to our 3rd and 4th Grade playground. We thank all of our supporters!
