Collegiate Distance Runners Share Positive Moment

A heartwarming passing-of-the-torch moment happened at Wednesday’s home track meet.

Collegiate 8^th Grader Johnny White, who ran the 1600 in under 5 minutes, had the support of Senior William Bennett who reached the same milestone in his 8^th Grade season.

William Bennett is pictured in the first photo as an 8^th Grader with his Collegiate teammate Scott Newton, who supported him. The second photo features William celebrating with Johnny after his accomplishment.
