College Fair info

In partnership with the Richmond Area Independent Schools (RAIS), Collegiate hosts a College Fair for students and their families each spring. 

In April 2024, we welcomed 145 colleges from our local area and around the globe. If you are a college representative and would like to receive an invitation to our next fair (Wednesday, April 2, 2025), please email: RAIS@collegiate-va.org.

Students MUST register in advance to attend. Please check the Weekly Paws in the weeks leading up to the fair the registration link or email your college counselor for assistance.

RAIS includes the following high schools: Benedictine Schools of Richmond (Benedictine College Preparatory and Saint Gertrude High School), Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot Catholic School, Christchurch School, Collegiate School (college fair host school), The New Community School, St. Catherine’s School, St. Christopher’s School, St. Margaret’s School, The Steward School, Trinity Episcopal School and Woodberry Forest School.

  • From North or South of Richmond:

    From I-95, take the I-64 west exit towards Charlottesville(from the south I-95 and I-64 will merge for a short time before the exit to Charlottesville). Take Parham Road South exit (Exit 181A). Continue south on Parham Road for 4.0 miles. Turn left at traffic light for the River Road exit. Go up hill and turn right on River Road. Turn right onto North Mooreland Road (.8 mile) Collegiate is on the right as you continue down North Mooreland Road. The Office of College Counseling is located in Middle School Science Building. Please plan to park in the back parking lots directly across from our building.

  • From I-64 Using Gaskins Road:

    From I-64, you may also take the Gaskins Road South exit (which is beyond Parham Road South). Continue on Gaskins south to River Road (3.8 miles). Turn left on River Road at the traffic light, and continue to North Mooreland Road (.9 mile). Turn left onto North Mooreland at the traffic light; Collegiate is on the right as you continue down North Mooreland Road. The Office of College Counseling is located in Middle School Science Building. Please plan to park in the back parking lots directly across from our building.

  • Alternate Route From The South:

    From I-95, you may take the Chippenham Parkway (Route 150) NORTH across the Willey Bridge. Once you cross the bridge, turn right at the first traffic light onto the access ramp to River Road. At the light, turn right onto River Road, and continue to North Mooreland Road. Turn right at the traffic light onto North Mooreland Road; Collegiate will be on your right. The Office of College Counseling is located in Middle School Science Building. Please plan to park in the back parking lots directly across from our building.

  • From East of Richmond:

    From 1-64 west, take Parham Road South exit (Exit 181 A).Continue south on Parham Road for 4.0 miles. Turn left at traffic light for the River Road exit. Go up hill and turn right on River Road. Turn right onto North Mooreland Road (.8 mile)Collegiate is on the right as you continue down North Mooreland Road. The Office of College Counseling is located in Middle School Science Building.   • From West of Richmond

    Take 1-64 east to the Gaskins Road exit (Exit 180).Turn right on Gaskins Road and continue south to River Road 3.8 miles. Turn left on River Road to North Mooreland Road (.9 mile)Collegiate is on the right as you continue down North Mooreland Road.
