Are you inspired by the jewelry creations you see in stores and online?   Did you know that learning a few simple techniques can open the doors to endless creative jewelry projects?  Come learn some skills with us in the bead studio and see where they can take you.  You'll learn how to use bead crimps and findings, make wire-wrapped pendants and earrings, crochet with beads, and make resin pendants for accent pieces.   

Laurel Maughan is a French teacher and speech coach in the Upper School. Her passion for language extends to a love for storytelling, performance and the arts. She has been active in several local theater organizations, including Quill Theater, K Dance and Swift Creek Mill Playhouse and has a particular interest in Shakespeare and classical performance.
