Dance Fusion Level II: Hip Hop

Calling all dancers! Join us for a week of hip-hop Dance. Dancers will learn hip-hop movement principles, choreography, and terminology, and understand hip-hop history and culture through viewings and music. There will be an informal showing at the end of the week. No dance experience is required.

Angie Muzzy, who holds a Master of Fine Arts dance degree, currently teaches courses in modern/contemporary forms and composition in the Upper School. She has showcased her choreography and has taught at various colleges, universities, festivals, and venues across the United States. This will be Angie’s third year teaching dance for Summer Quest.

• Bring a healthy snack and a filled water bottle to camp each day.

• Participants are encouraged to wear leotards or tank tops and yoga/dance pants; and wear clean sneakers. Hair should be pulled back and secured.
