Collegiate Celebrates 2016 Scholastic Art Award Winners
Nearly two dozen Collegiate Upper Schoolers received recognition this year in the Scholastic Art Awards at the regional level, and the work of three students has been selected for review in the national competition. Congrats to Nate Holdych,Aven Jones and ConnorMcClusky for being selected as Gold Key Winners for their digital artwork.
The Scholastic program is considered the nation’s largest, longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teenagers in the visual arts. Every year, nearly 200,000 students across the nation submit their best pieces for review by panels of art professionals, and compete for recognition, scholarships and exhibition opportunities.
Regional level winners are given Gold Key, Silver Key or Honorable Mention status. The work of the Gold Key winners then goes on to be judged at the national level.
We wish Collegiate's three Gold Key winners the best, and we salute our Silver Key winners, as well as those who received Honorable Mention:
