Cuthbert Receives More Accolades and Competes in Olympic Trials

Sam Cuthbert '16 has a few new awards to add to his collection. He was recently named a 2015-2016 USA Swimming Scholastic All American for the 3^rd year. This award is given to swimmers with at least a GPA of 3.5 and have swum an individual time equal to or better than a Winter Junior National time in any event during the SAA qualifying period. Cuthbert was also named All-Metro in the 100 backstroke in May.

Sam is currently in Ohama competing in the Olympic Trials. Coach Mike Stott wrote a piece about Sam seeing this level of competition as a newcomer. Please see the link below to read the article.
