Collegiate Art Students Earn Scholastic Arts Honors
Founded in 1923, the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is the nation’s longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens. This year, 10 Collegiate School students earned gold, silver and honorable mention honors in the art category.
Through the Awards, students receive opportunities for recognition, exhibition, publication and scholarships. Students across America submitted nearly 350,000 original works this year in 29 categories of art and writing.
The following Collegiate students learned this week that their work has received honors for 2019:

The Visual Arts Center of Richmond will showcase the work of local Gold and Silver Key winners from Feb. 16-March 2. Photographs of Honorable Mention work will be projected in a video loop at the center during the entirety of the exhibit. Congratulations to all!
