Middle School Art Walk

The Collegiate Middle School arts program helps provide one avenue for our students to grow and learn new skills as they each develop an individual awareness of themselves. Our efforts emanate from the earth itself — clay, pigment, wood and paper. Our students’ hands get dirty, they take risks with new tools and they learn to visualize before they commit. Here, in our Virtual Art Walk, are some images that suggest some of what they deal with in our program offerings. Our 5th through 8th Graders develop strategies that will help guide them through their Upper School years and beyond. – Steve Hart, Middle School art teacher
