Collegiate Alumni in College Sports Report

Amy Hedgepeth '06 scored 2 goals for Savannah College of Arts & Design, but the Bees fell 20-7 in lacrosse to Methodist College March 3 at the SCAD athletic complex in Hardeeville, SC. Earlier this season, she scored 4 goals against Kennesaw State, 3 against South Carolina, and 2 against Emory.

scored a goal with 9:41 left in Washington & Lee's 13-6 lacrosse victory over Christopher Newport in Lexington March 2.

Brent Cavedo '05 of Mary Washington ran a personal best 2:01.40 in the 800 in the George Mason Last Chance Meet March 2 in Fairfax.  In the same meet, the George Mason's MacGregor Lennarz '04 ran 1:06.85 in the 500.

Ginny Rider '06 of Colorado College scored 1 goal and assisted on another in the Tigers' 17-2 victory over University of Dallas March 2 in Irving, TX.  She also contributed a goal in her team's 13-1 win over Pomona-Pitzer March 1 in Irving.

Mason Davis '06 won her No. 4 singles match and teamed with Elena Triebskorn to win No. 1 doubles in Longwood's 6-1 tennis victory over Hampton University in Farmville March 1.


Washington & Lee's Ned Rider '04 scored 2 goals and contributed 2 assists, but the Generals fell 15-11 in lacrosse to Colorado College March 1 in Colorado Springs.

Russell Wilson '07
, a scholarship football player at N.C. State and a walk-on second baseman, has 3 hits (including a double) in 10 at bats through 6 games for the Wolfpack baseball team.
